MES MICROS TRADE PLAN #302
THU/FRI RTH
🗓️ Posted: Thursday May 7, 2026
OVERVIEW
AM
A very interesting morning indeed.
The push-pull of the indices was at the extreme level today, in my opinion.
We called a small short off the opening for a small winner or break even.
🔥 Then, we mapped a clear 10-point long with entry and exit targets.
Most traders snagged their 10 pointer and called it a day — nice trading!
I took the short at 7410 and added to my winning trade. My lead contract was removed at a 40-pointer and held a runner.
late day
We got three attempts to flush Battle Plan 1️⃣ to create an entry.
Three attempts with three bounces.
For Battle Plan 1️⃣, I wrote: “This time I want to see a beautiful bounce off the level first and then rip underneath the Strong Level. Please note the bounce first.”
We definitely got the bounce… three of them… but did not get the rip underneath the Strong Level.
We certainly picked the right level for Price to bounce.
ES just couldn’t “flush underneath”.
I had traders on standby for this trade.
▶️ Urging them to be PATIENT and WAIT til AFTER the BOUNCE and FLUSH. The killer one-two punch.
To my traders… you exhibited wonderful patience today — a special shout out to Laxmi on this one!
Laxmi also wrote, “Thank you. Patience is something I REALLY have to work on. This group is helping.” It’s true… TOGETHER WE TRADE BETTER.
Then… a FOURTH test during Power Hour.
I’ve seen it test critical levels like this 15 times before it actually flushed.
Careful thinking. It has to flush on the first or second or third attempt!
it reminds me of this scene as a child. I loved watching Kung Fu with my father.
Battle Plan 1️⃣
▶️ Was Battle Plan 1️⃣ a long or a short?
Well, I mapped out a short, but if you read the note, you will see there were two paragraphs!
The second paragraph reads, “I did not map it for the sake of brevity and my lack of desire to long up here, but if we flush the 7350 Strong Level and reclaim-retest it, that could be a low-quality long on the re-test of the Strong Level. “
So yes, you could have taken a long at Battle Plan 1️⃣ as a long.
Price ran 20-points had you taken it.
Be sure to read the notes!
TIP OF THE DAY
I did discover one of the great benefits of holding a runner:
I had enough time to make homemade spaghetti and homemade eclairs to start out the Mother’s Day weekend while holding a runner and just checking on price from time to time.
So yes, an added benefit of holding a runner is… you get to make dinner easily.
QUOTE OF THE DAY
Sometimes the best trade is no trade at all.

BATTLE PLAN
sa
Battle Plan 1️⃣ LONG. Be sure to read the notes, as discussed below!
Price ran 20-points.
ZOOM
We called one short for a scratch or small profit.
And one long for a quick “sniper” ten-pointer. Entry and exit provided.
🔥 Congrats to the traders who took their ten pointer and walked.
Honestly… five to ten points a day… consistently… is all you need.
RTH has not offered much lately. It is what it is.
CORE STRATEGY: RTH ONLY (For Full Members)
Certainly a big old three-minute backside for 40 points.
Level development was very questionable after that.
