THURSDAY/FRIDAY RTH SETUPS 🗓️ Posted: Thursday June 4, 2026
TODAY’S REVIEW: ES FUTURES
Battle Plan 3️⃣ | ES Short Setup
Talk about a super clean entry with no heat.
🔥 Had you kept a runner to the next Strong Level that was a 27-point trade.
What do you do if you make 27 points the night before… the day before NFP?
Green > Greed comes to mind!
ES Setups in RTH Today
Be sure to watch the video to see how we traded on the day before non-farm payroll.
Above the Bull Bear Strong Level line, we were looking for longs to target two levels and to not short.
If we dropped back inside of the Bull Bear Strong Level level with a vengeance, we were looking to get short, hopefully arriving at Battle Plan 4️⃣ below.
Once again, you have to trade what is happening, not what you want to happen.
Tip of the Day
Trade what is happening, not what you want to happen.
Scoreboard
Points Accumulated This Week:
Battle Plan: 127+
🔥 Battle Plan 3️⃣ short for 27 points at minimum.
Battle Plan 1️⃣ Bounced only 5.5 points. I’m going to consider this a break-even trade. However, the trade did arrive at its target.
Zoom: 85+
If you took the final long as outlined with the three contract system, the perfect take profit was at the end of the mapping for Battle Plan 1️⃣.
What is Non-Farm Payroll and why is it a Stand Down day?
A: Non-Farm Payroll is a major economic report released the first Friday of every month. It shows how many jobs the U.S. economy added or lost. Markets can move violently and unpredictably around the release… that’s why it’s a Stand Down day. Stand Down means you do not trade. It’s not a suggestion. The conditions are too erratic to give a clean setup a fair chance.
What is the Bull Bear Strong Level and how does it guide trade direction?
A: The Bull Bear Strong Level is the key line that separates bullish and bearish control. Above it… we’re in bull territory. You look for longs and you do not short. If price drops back below it with force… the bears have taken control and short setups become valid. Bulls control above. Shorts are counter… small if at all. Never make things worse.
A: Green Over Greed means protecting your profits. If you’ve already captured a big move… say 27 points the day before a major news event… you don’t push for more. You take the win. Greed is what turns a great trade into a breakeven or a loss. Green Over Greed is how you stay profitable long term.
What is the range trade and how do you use it?
A: The range trade is based on a defined price range the market has been building. The top of the range is resistance… the bottom is support. If price drops into the top of the range… there’s a good likelihood it rotates all the way to the bottom. You trade that move. You know your entry, your target, and your risk before you ever pull the trigger.
What does it mean to trade what is happening… not what you want to happen?
A: It means you follow price. Not your bias. Not your hope. Not what you think should happen. If the setup isn’t there… you wait. If price does something unexpected… you adapt. Traders who fight the tape are the ones who take the big losses. Read what the market is actually doing and respond to that. That’s the discipline.

Trading involves the risk of loss as well as the potential of profit. It is generally advised by successful traders to never risk more money than you can afford and are willing to lose - both on a trade-by-trade basis, and a portfolio basis.
You should seek independent financial advice from a qualified professional in deciding if trading is appropriate for you. Please also consider the appropriateness of that professional advice in light of your own objectives, financial situation or needs.

You should carefully consider your objectives, financial situation, needs, psychological and emotional fortitude, and any other relevant personal circumstances when determining whether or not trading is suitable for you. Trading is not for everyone, and for some there are much easier ways to make money from a side-hustle or career more suited to their personality and situation.
Trading is exceptionally difficult to succeed at, with a remarkably high failure rate. So please do your own due diligence to protect yourself and your capital from unnecessary losses and damage. Seek advice from a qualified professional (such as a financial advisor) if you feel uncertain about your decision to begin trading.
THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING SECURITIES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT INVESTED. HOWEVER, THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING DERIVATIVES (SUCH AS FUTURES, CFDS, FOREX ETC) MAY NOT BE LIMITED. THIS MEANS YOU MAY LOSE MORE THAN YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE OR THE AMOUNT REQUIRED TO HOLD AND CONTROL THE PARTICULAR DERIVATIVE, ESPECIALLY WHEN EMPLOYING LEVERAGE.
THE HIGH DEGREE OF LEVERAGE THAT IS OFTEN OBTAINED IN FUTURES, OPTIONS, FOREX AND CONTRACTS FOR DIFFERENCE CAN WORK AGAINST YOU AS WELL AS FOR YOU. IN OTHER WORDS, THE USE OF LEVERAGE IS A TOOL THAT CAN LEAD TO LARGE LOSSES AS WELL AS LARGE GAINS. WHEN USED PROPERLY THIS CAN BE AN ADVANTAGE, BUT WHEN USED IMPROPERLY AND CARELESSLY IT CAN RESULT IN CATASTROPHIC LOSSES - OFTEN RAPIDLY.
This brief statement cannot disclose all the risks and other significant aspects of securities and derivatives markets. It also does not cover the many risks inherent in cryptocurrency trading - such as lack of regulation, potential liquidity issues, high volatility and various third-party risks. It is YOUR responsibility to research and decide whether or not to accept the risks involved in the particular market or asset you choose to trade or invest in.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONSULT YOUR FINANCIAL ADVISOR TO DETERMINE WHETHER TRADING IN SECURITIES, CRYPTOCURRENCIES OR DERIVITIVES PRODUCTS IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOU IN LIGHT OF YOUR OWN FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
Good luck with your wealth creation journey, and please take this information seriously. The graveyard of failed traders is large and ever-growing, and that is largely due to these warnings being ignored and the many dangers of trading not being respected.
