Read the Market First. Trade Second.

Market structure answers the question every futures day trader must settle before the first order goes in: what is this market actually doing? George opens every live session the same way. Who controls… bulls or bears? What day type are we in? Where are we on the chart? The trades come after the reading, never before.

This hub gathers everything George teaches about reading the ES E-mini futures market across 500+ recorded sessions. It starts with control. When one side runs the market, you trade with that side. "Bulls control. Shorts are counter. Small, if at all"… that single sentence, repeated in more sessions than any other structure lesson, keeps traders off the wrong side of trend days. Control gets diagnosed from candles, structure, and sequence. It flips on proven structural breaks. A single red candle changes nothing.

From there the lessons stack. Day types… trend day or chop day, and George's Chop Day Recipe for spotting the difference early. Ranges and how price defends their edges. Laddering and break levels that tell the story price leaves behind. Bounce Power, the idea that every Strong Level holds a finite number of tests before the ground softens. Liquidity grabs and stop hunts that trap traders right before the real move. And market profile applied the MicrosTrader way: POC as a magnet, value areas as bumper lanes, single prints as evidence.

Structure also carries a calendar. Level 10 Trading Conditions govern FOMC, CPI, and NFP days, when news candles respect no levels. Blood On The Chart is the stand-down system for irrational price action and 15-point candles. Vomit days, short covering rallies, rollover weeks, OPEX Fridays… each one behaves differently, and each one has its own page below.

Why does this matter? Because price action trading without a structural read is guessing. Learn the market's habits and the chart starts talking to you.
