Live Calls vs After-the-Fact Charts
Anybody can show you a beautiful chart after the close… only a live record proves the trader was actually in it.
2022–2026
How do you vet a trading guru? Watch how the calls are made. A trustworthy futures trader calls the setup live, in real time, and records the whole session so you can verify it later. A fake trading guru posts a polished YouTube video after the close and tells you which trades he “took.” Those are two different worlds. One is checkable. The other is a story.
“Anybody can say anything after the trading day and show you the most perfect beautiful setups. But can we see them live in real time? Yes we can.”
This page gathers what George teaches about trust and transparency across years of live ES E-mini futures sessions… the live-versus-after-the-fact test, the recorded scoreboard, the misses he publishes on purpose, his conservative point counting, and the old-school sniff test that vetted the whole system before he ever charged a dime. George does not ask you to take his word for it. It is also the honest test to run on any ES levels newsletter… here is an Adam Mancini alternative that makes the calls live, on the tape.
Live Beats a Post-Hoc Claim, Every Time
Start with the simplest test. When was the call made? Before the move, or after? A trader who announces his entry while the trade is open puts his reputation on the line in front of witnesses. A trader who shows you the winner after the close asks you to trust a screenshot. George says it plain… a post-hoc video invites the obvious eye-roll.
“If I published a YouTube video at the end of the day and said, ‘I went short here and I went long here,’ you’d go, ‘Yeah, sure you did, buddy.’ When it’s live, it’s better.”
Why does live carry so much more weight? Because you cannot rewrite it. The call is timestamped the instant it leaves his mouth, with price still moving and the outcome unknown. That is the whole game inside a live futures trading room… the market grades every call in real time, and everyone watching sees the grade.
“It’s hard to cheat when you’re live. Hard to cheat when you’re live.”
That line is the heart of the whole page. A beautiful chart proves nothing about who was actually long or short when it mattered. A live call, recorded and dated, proves everything. When you shop for a room, ask one question. Do they call it before, or explain it after?
The Recorded Session Is the Receipt
Calling live is step one. Recording it is step two. George records every session for one reason… so a skeptic can go back and watch him take the exact trade he claims, at the exact price, at the exact moment. The recording turns “trust me” into “check it yourself.”
“I’m glad I record these. People like, ‘Oh, sure. That’s what y’all did. Sure that’s the trade you took.’ Well, I’m long from there.”
Publishing that record takes nerve. It is one thing to say you called a trade. It is another to post the tape where anyone can scrub back and check. George admits the discomfort straight up… “it is nerve-wracking to publish those” (Jun 10, 2026). The nerves are the proof. A trader who fakes his results has no reason to sweat the tape.
The same instinct reshaped how George packages his wrap-ups. He stopped dressing them up and started simply cutting the raw Zoom recording so prospective members watch what actually happened instead of a highlight reel… “I think if I was a prospective member, that would be important to me… to be able to see what actually happened on the Zooms” (Oct 2, 2025). When you vet a room, look for the unedited recording. That is where the truth lives.
The Courage to Publish Levels First
Here is the ultimate live test. Publish your levels before the market opens. A fake guru waits for the move, then draws his lines to fit it. A real trader posts his Strong Levels the night before and lets the session judge them in public. There is nowhere to hide. The levels either hold or they do not, and everyone watching keeps score.
“You know how scary it was to publish my Strong Levels the first few times?”
That fear was rational. Pre-published levels are a standing dare to the market. But the levels performed, session after session, and their track record settled the question. This is the engine behind the Battle Plan… George maps his ES futures and MES micro futures trade locations before the open and posts them where the whole room can watch them get tested. Pre-mapped and public. That is the standard to demand.
An Honest Scoreboard Beats a Padded One
Live calls and recorded sessions handle the wins. The scoreboard is where most gurus lie. Padding is easy. Count a multi-day 400-point move as one clean trade. Skip the losing weeks. Round every capture up. George refuses to play that game, and he says why in blunt terms.
“I’m not going to count a multi-day 400 point move… I’m not going to pad results when I could. It’s not what it’s about. It’s about being honest to myself and honest to you.”
Honesty means owning the flat weeks too. When the totals come in low, George reports them low… “I also got to be as transparently honest as possible. It was low totals this week” (May 2, 2026). Would he love to claim a monster week every time? Of course. On that same session he admitted it out loud: “would I love to say we just crushed it all week and we had hundreds of points? Sure.” He said it, then reported the real number anyway.
His point counting bends the same direction… conservative on purpose. He understates what was achievable, and he refuses to bank points on trades he actively talked members out of taking.
“I am very conservative in my capture numbers, and for regular members, you know that to be true… Many times I’m saving you from taking bad trades. How do I put those points in there? I can’t.”
Read that twice. A conservative scoreboard costs George bragging rights on paper. He pays that price to keep the number trustworthy. This ties directly to Green Over Greed… the same discipline that governs when to stop trading also governs how you count what you made.
He Publishes the Misses on Purpose
Want the fastest way to spot a real trader? Watch what he does with a loss. A fake guru buries it. George posts it, dated and explained, because the misses vet the wins. If he only ever showed you winners, the winners would be suspect. He shows you the ones that got away.
“Two swings, two misses and it goes without me. Oh well, what do you do? I missed the trade… It runs now up over a 100 points which sucks because I would still be long. I wish I could report better results, but that’s the truth.”
A move ran 100 points without him and he reported the miss anyway. That is the tell. Learning to publish your own failures is its own discipline, and it doubles as a study tool… every miss becomes a lesson you can trade in your head. George covers that reps-based practice in Mental Trading and treats losing well as a skill in Be a Professional Loser.
Even the small stuff gets a nod. A typo in the Battle Plan? George welcomes it as proof a human wrote the thing… “those mistakes let you know a human wrote it” (May 15, 2026). Perfection is a red flag. Honest fingerprints are the tell of a real trader.
The Sniff Test: Vetted by a 20-Year Trader
Before George opened the room to anybody, he ran his own vetting. He invited a skeptical futures trader with 20 years on the screens to come in with one job… tear the system apart. A hostile examiner, hired to find the con.
“I wanted someone with 20 years of experience to come in and sniff test what I was doing… either say you are so full of crap and you have been lucky and this is crap, and let me tell you when this system is going to fail.”
How did the sniff test land? The veteran stayed. A month in, he was still in the room… “now you’ve been in the room a good month” (Nov 12, 2022). A 20-year trader who came to prove it was luck, and lingered anyway. That is a vote you cannot fake.
The system earns that vote because George builds it in real time, at full stakes, every single day. Every refinement comes out of live trading. He is solving the same problems you face, live, as they happen.
“I am trading while I’m trying to teach it… many of these things are affecting you every day at 100. So it’s like, oh gee, you ask the question to yourself, well, I don’t know, what is the right time to get back in here? Well, okay, let’s check that out. Let’s figure something out.”
Put the whole checklist together and you have a working sniff test of your own. Live calls. Recorded sessions. Levels published first. An honest, conservative scoreboard. Owned misses. And a track record long enough that a 20-year skeptic could not shake it. Apply that test to any trading guru you are considering. The good ones welcome it.
